This is the first entry and hopefully not the last.
My name is Cyrus… I am an Iranian-Canadian and now living for over nine years in Germany.
I am a software engineer, a photographer, but most passionately I am a cook; and this is what this blog is all about.
Oh, right, and the pretty lady in the picture is my wife, Sanni, who is a magician in the baking department, and basically whenever it comes to making dessert, whipping up a cake or anything involving flour, butter and eggs (she makes the most smashing quiche and samosa by the way).
And this is us in Argentina…
In these posts we will put stories, flavors, and recipes of the food we have discovered around the globe, from spice mixes made by my granny and used in her kitchen in Iran, to Pisco-based Peruvian cocktails and infusions, to Thai soups and French pastry made in sleepy villages, and anything inbetween or fused.
